Get Good Answers, Fast – Read Books for Children

I’m working on my new book titled – I Know I’m Crazy.  Naturally, I will show ways for you to not be crazy and how to be enlightened, at least for moments.

I have observed that people make up painful stories that hold little truth.  Even though the stories aren’t true, their bodies and minds and behavior all respond as if the stories were fact.

Quick examples of painful stories –

“I can’t do anything right.”

“I’m such a failure.”

“Nobody will ever love me.”

“I have such ugly darkness in me.”

Yikes.

Worry

My craziness often takes the form of worry, so I started to do another layer of research on worry for this book.  Here’s the best book I found – What to Do When You Worry Too Much: A Kid’s Guide to Overcoming Anxiety.  It was the best of the half dozen I looked at.

Best because it feels useful and respectful of the child and the parents.  It tells the truth about worry.   And it provides three simple fast ways to work your way out of the worry habit.

Here’s the Research Tip:

If you want good clear answers, read books aimed at kids.  Some of them may be patronizing, but most will be respectful, fun, and spot on.

Introducing My New Blog – On the Journey

I’ve just set up a new blog for books – mine and others, On the Journey.  Certainly, I will include anything else I think will be fun and valuable for you on your journey through life.

The idea is to provide you with books and ideas that will help you on your journey.

Let Friends Know

Please, tell your friends about the blog – use the social media links or go old-school and just send them a note.

If you now have a subscription to my blog, subscribe to the new one, too.

Why?

Because I may phase out the Body & Soul Mentoring Blog.  For awhile, I will post duplicates to both blogs.  But shortly, I’ll post to one or the other.  Altogether you won’t be inundated with too many postings.

Go for it => On the Journey

See subscribe box on the top right of the page.

May you walk in beauty,

William

P.S. Go explore On the Journey, note the Treasures page.

P.P.S. If you find typos or glitches anywhere, let me know.  It’s brand new.
